Hello fishes. Need your suggestions. I have worked at Accenture for 2 yrs as a software developer and due to interest in core side, took training in Rv-Vlsi and placed in capgemini as PHYSICAL DESIGN ENGINEER . And it's been 9 months, I didn't get any project. I am much frustrated as I am wasting my imp time. I'm regretting now of leaving Accenture :( Can you give me suggestions on what to learn in this free time? Intel Corporation Qualcomm MediaTek Synopsys Inc. Advanced Micro Devices Inc.

I’d say less as I tend to drink at home during the weekend (when I get to be the chef too) - pre-COVID would be out for lunches /dinner with 🍷🍾🍸🥃🍺🍹
I realized sometimes I actually wanted a drink, but other times I was having one as a signal that it’s time to to relax and pay attention to my SO instead of my phone. Now I try to pay more attention to what I really want. if I just want to relax, I try to have the “cocktail experience” without the alcohol. I make a nonalcoholic drink and have it in the same spot I would be for a cocktail, leave my phone in another room, turn on a record, etc.
Much, much less with no happy hours and no travel. Wasn’t really intentional at first but now I drink maybe 2-5 drinks a week over 1-2 days and usually take 2 weeks off every month or so. Pre-covid was probably too high of a number drinking 4-5 x per week.
Some advice would be to ask why you are drinking more. Some other advice would be to grow older where the cost of the hangover after a couple drinks outweighs the benefits. 😆
D2, i agree it feels great not drinking. Especially waking up in the AM with no headaches.
Yes, a lot more. Haven't had an appetite for dinner most days, and a whiskey or two clears that right up.
For a while I would have a drink with lunch then never stop, after a few months this was happening on a daily basis and I would be be pretty "happy" by 5-6pm when it was time to finish up the day. Now I will not have anything until it's time to finish up. However I wouldn't get as drunk at the end of the day as I would be when I was on-site, however I wouldn't be on-site more than once every month so all in all I didn't drink more wfh than what I would when being on site just spread it out more over the day.
