Anyone else had to take a screenshot upon arrival at your work destination every morning and then send the time-stamped photo to your Manager every morning, who is not even involved in the project you have been assigned to? I know what you are feeling.
If there are more than three occurrences of they’ll leave they are required to get a doctor note. It’s not personal.
If it is something that is recurring, I’m fairly certain they can ask for some kind of proof. You do not have to provide a diagnosis or anything like that, of course.
I can understand how something like that can feel demeaning. If it's something that happens on a regular basis, I can also understand why they would want to be sure what's happening. It's probably just a rule people have to abide by, it's really not something to take personally.
Due to sick leave abuse across the board, this is a fairly common thing to ask for. Getting a doctor's note isn't a big deal.
Yes as a former county govt supervisor and a current state employee HR wants to know you’re using sick leave for actual sick leave. I disagree with it but it is what it is
Have you filed fmla claim they would ask for that proof not a regular manager? Sidebar: Even if you use leave on a weekly basis it’s like a shield for your job position or any other repercussions that might arise including the circumstance your in now
I cant file since we need to have been here for 12 months.
thats a disability accomodation. ITs a legal right.
