Anyone from AMEX project?
Today (13th Feb 2022) Sunday is my last working date .Actually In Employee separation portal everything completed.Full and final settlement showing as Agent Clearance.I tried contacting HR but there is no response from them.My joining date in another company is tomorrow.So will it create any problem.Which date will be mentioned in my relieving letter either today or tomorrow.Helpline also down.WHAT EXACTLY I SHOULD DO NOW.Can anyone suggest?

Yes. It’s remotely productive to keep our culture. We’re having a blast at least once a week seeing everyone’s faces and hearing their voices. It’s helped us more than we would have guessed.
Noted : I am referencing more of the daily ones. But I can definitely see your point here if it’s done right.
Yes! Every morning! Now everyone listens to minute daily updates from projects they have no involvement in. 🙄

I get what you you’re saying, but do think that some may struggle with WFH, and having a standing daily is something that provides people with a bit of a rally, or reminder that we’re all in this together. I don’t hate it. Now, if we could move it to 10am instead of 9...

I think video zoom calls are more engaging. When looking at a room full of people at an in-person meeting I see people playing with their phones, fiddling with the statue, thumbing through magazines or books, drawing on paper rather than taking notes or writing a fiction novel or poem or song, head down in arms, head and back leaning with two legs of the chair on the ground drooling with eyes rolling back. When I look at a zoom meeting I see straight posture, large wide eyes, and staring straight at the camera. Which is better?? IDK
Partners at my (law) firm are keeping a very tight watch on who’s got work and who hasn’t.
I know you probably make a living criticizing company culture but in this case I think it is justified.
IMO They should probably start thinking outcome-based instead of busy-based (if that’s what you’re saying they’re doing)
