Anyone from Accenture Digital want to chat? Trying to see if I can leverage my current experience and make a pivot to more digital focused projects and away from SN implementations at current Big 4!
Currently at 105 base at D GPS (Fed) as a second year SC. Worth jumping to another big 4 this year? Have a TS clearance and non target mba, about 6 years exp
How important is it to get your CPA in the long run/ outside of big 4? Would CFE be beneficial? I’m a forensics staff.
I want to exit Big 4 into and industry company that offers stocks as part of their compensation package. Aside from FAANG, what other companies should I look into? Open to big or smaller companies.
Started accenture straight out of undergrad. Is it going to be hard to jump ship to another consultant firm after one year? I’m targeting big 4.
BDO, Grant Thornton, RSM folks...etc why do y'all always talk down on big 4 and try to act like you have the best work life balance and y'll are so much better??
Is 2 weeks notice pretty respectable in big 4 audit? Or is it better to give up to 3/4 if you know ahead of time?
Delta gold says first class upgraded 72 hours b4 flight. I see open first class seats but haven’t been upgraded. How does this work?!
McK Implementation 🐠 - noticed that some job descriptions specify industry. Would an experienced hire come in already specialized, as opposed to a standard generalist track? What backgrounds are these roles typically looking for (industry, big 4, etc.)?
After 2 years of RE tax in big 4 looking to move on. But not sure what my next move should be especially during Corona. Any advice?
I’m a staff 2 and just had a call with a recruiter... sounds like at this level, the grass isn’t much greener out there than in B4. Can anyone comment otherwise? Do I really need to wait til Sr.+ ?
is it a good move to take an industry role (financial analyst) to gain some relevant experience and come back to B4 (transaction advisory) down the road?
I’m a second year tax manager in B4 and getting tired of the hours. With no pay increases coming anytime soon, I’m starting to think about jumping to industry to try it out. Would I be smarter to do another year+ to get to Senior Manager, then look to leave? What more would that get me in terms of title/comp?
I signed an offer for Strategy & Analytics with D, but they put me into Oracle ERP implementations when I joined. I’m not interested in doing this at all, and I’m not sure if I should try to go through university recruiting again for a role I actually want or shoot for experienced hire roles. I do know I absolutely won’t continue to work for Deloitte after all the misleading lies. Completely over it here.
Fiancé is an attending physician at a children’s hospital and is exploring leaving front line care (fellow program is finished in 2021). 🐠, outside of the typical MBB route what direction should I point her?
I’ve been an assistant for 3 years (in two different agencies) and have been applying, reaching out and networking but nothing has gotten me to get to the next level. I really need an increase in salary (my current one barely covers monthly living expenses) and just nervous/anxious.
Management Consulting Recruiting in 2020. For Analyst roles, do you guys see any recruitment activity for the fall? I have ~1 YOE. Hoping there may be some hiring due to potential smaller start classes (due to rescinded offers, internships, etc.)

New Job asking for W2 and Paystub. Is it common in Big 4 now? ( Didn't have to do anything like this earlier)
Where to start coming from 2 years management consulting at Big 4, looking to transition into IB analyst role
It's not dry and dead out there. Started looking only 6 weeks back. Attended 3 interviews. Accepted one offer. Transfer approved in 3 business days. Joining Chase next week. Keep looking guys. I just went to each of the 'careers' pages.. Updated resume to match the requirements on each posting. Called out on resume that I need immigration sponsorship. Had a cover letter for each posting. Before that I spent money on getting a professional resume from Monster. Highly recommended. Good luck all.
Been assigned individual SQL work for weeks now. Much more technical than anything I've done before but barely within scope of what I can do. Or could do, if I could focus on it for more than 30 seconds. Gonna get myself fired if I can't get back on track
Our office is obviously closed but we are expected to still bill 7h/day. Work is slowly dwindling and it hasn’t even been two weeks. I’m being told to make calls to clients to pay their outstanding...
Anyone have insight into EY S&O cases? Would love info on how the interview process works, thanks in advance!
Young consultant: remember the goal of any project is not to actually solve the client's problem(s), but to be profitable. This will save yourself a ton of frustration in the future.
It’s getting bad out there. These are expected industries, but feels like it will spillover everywhere.. https://www.forbes.com/sites/lisettevoytko/2020/03/30/coronavirus-layoffs-rent-the-runway-zipcar-latest-to-let-workers-go-amid-pandemic/amp/
Advice needed here: what usually does Deloitte do with employees that max out H1B but don’t have i140? Just kick them out or put them on another kind of visa? I am assessing options now. Thanks!
