Got PwC Associate position in MC. They offered 20fixed + upto 20%variable (after a lot of negotiations). I think they lowballed me. 🥺

I was Sr. associate in previous organisation. (Ctc 15+)

Background: Old IIM MBA
Work ex: Total 4+ years. ( 2+ post mba, 2 pre mba)

I am not able to justify the designation to myself. What are your views? please help me rationalize if I was lowballed or not.

1) A large (15K employees) product based company with good culture.
22.5 LPA

2) A small (150+ employees) service based startup company with excellent culture.
17 LPA.

Why are people now treating e-mail as instant messaging? I work with several people that for some reason expect all emails to be answered within minutes of being received…. I can understand the sense of urgency around some high-priority, time-sensitive matters… but everything does not fall into that category… it drives me crazy.
