Need advice: I just started this week at my new company and prior to joining I brought tickets with my friends together for a one week vacation to the West Coast. It will be the week of 7/4. I scheduled a lunch with me, a senior partner, and a junior associate because, when I was an associate, the senior partner I worked most closely with would spend time with me every month or so to go over my workload, how I'm doing, whether I'm being challenged too much/not enough, etc. Basically he'd ask me what I needed either from him or the firm. I truly believe it kept me from burning out. Senior partner just told junior associate that the lunch is to discuss his f*ck ups. 🤦🏼‍♀️
