Girlfriend has very obvious high functioning anxiety and body image issues that she admits but thinks she doesn’t need therapy or medication and that reading self-help books will help her. HSG pain level vs. endometrial biopsy? I have an HSG this week and did biopsy last week. Biopsy was brutal! I overheard a nurse telling someone else that HSG is actually more painful but I can’t even imagine… really nervous now.

I recently quit my job. My VP was a narcissist and never really looked out for my upward progression even though he said he was my sponsor. Whenever I would do a solid job, he would always down play it or give the mid-level mgr credit even though other people / management acknowledged it. But we still got along. When I gave my two week notice, I did not meet up or talk to him (I cancelled a good bye 1-on-1 b/c I was over it) - sent a short thank you email instead and ghosted. Was this justified?

My natural instinct is to assume rejection if I have conflict with a partner or don’t think my feelings are reciprocated. I’ll try to bring it up with them, but I’ll say “if you want to end this feel free” so it doesn’t hurt me (and they can say what they really mean instead of sugarcoating).
