I received an offer from IBM Bangalore. However I saw openings at my preferred location Kochi only after the interviews. I called the HR after getting their point of contact mail and I asked if it's possible to switch. They said I'm already tagged to a project and that they'll check from their end if it can be done.

Anyone knows the chances of location being changed after receiving the offer and getting tagged to a project?

How do I leave my role as someone on the talent team. I am on a small recruitment team of only a few people, who connect daily. I am also responsible for sending out updates tracking new hires and upcoming leavers (aka I would be on this list if i decide to leave). If I am looking to leave my company, considering all of these things, how do I do it in the least awkward, most professional way possible? Can anyone help me wrap my head around this post Series C start-up equity offer? It’s an IP director position, the the base is $170 with 10% bonus (both lower than I was expecting). There’s also an equity component: 0.15% of current fully diluted equity. This equates to about 30000 shares at a strike price of $2. They also indicate the preferred stock price is $6 and preferred stock equity is $188k (whatever that means). They are in the middle of a new financing and valuation round.

Starting a new position in a few weeks and have an opportunity to speak with my future boss before starting. Is there anything I should ask before starting that wouldn’t already have been covered in the interview? I was thinking about asking if I should read up on anything before starting, but I also don’t want to impose obligations on myself if I don’t have to. Fwiw going from firm to in-house. TIA!

Currently, in accenture. I have had very bad billable hours and not much achievement this fiscal year. I am worried of getting fired, so i applied for another job. Got offered may be 5% above my current pay with 5k bonus, but in lower level at Deloitte. I think working lower level will give me more opportunities to learn as i think i have lot to learn. I made decision based on my gut and accepted the offer. I have not talked to anyone on accenture side yet. What you think?
