Just paid it off in March. Took 18 months to pay off $125k
Full ride. Loans are for betas
I live in Houston, TX
Strategy&- what is your salary? How were you able to pay $7k per month plus interest?
Graduate Assistantship. I taught a class, and got free tuition, health insurance, and $5000 per semester.
Damn? Where are you living?? I'm trying to end up in NYC since my fiance's family is there and I'm worried it'll take a while for me to pay it back

I saved for 4 years to pay for my MBA, then I got a GA position with a tuition waiver. I didn't take any loans. There are plenty of creative ways to pay for it without relying on just loans.
@Dir1 what is GA position?
Graduate Assistant. You’d work in admissions or career services or with a specific professor in the program that has GA’s paid for as part of their contract
Graduate assistantship. You should look into these options. GAs can be teaching assistants - help professors / teach entry level classes, research assistants - help professors with research, graduate assistant - help university departments. Full assistantships cover all of the tuition but not fees.
Who pays off student loans anymore anyways?
I did the same as Dir1. 2 year MBA abroad through US b-school. Left with ~$18k in debt I took out for spending money. Paid off casually in 3 years.
Highly recommend
@A1 - full ride and end up at Accenture. Sounds likes your school was Beta.
