Too expensive or too cheap? Idk what you’re asking
Well since they wouldn’t know it’s used, I’m afraid they’ll think I’m out there spending too much money. I know most of my team makes much more than me but they generally drive very economically practical cars.
Go for it. If that’s how you want to spend your earnings no one has the right to tell you what to do.
Unless you're driving a brand new M3 fresh out of UG, no one will bat an eye... So many beamers on the road and tbh, a 328 (making an assumption here) is an entry model. Drive a BMW myself, and have never had an issue or felt judged.
Will say that maintenance is a pain from a cost perspective. Cars run well in my experience, but when they do have an issue, it's expensive. Even little things like changing headlights or getting a new battery are unreal relative to Japanese (excluding infinity) or American. That said, the way a German car drives/handles is fantastic and worth the cost IMO.
@M2 - never, would just laugh it off if I did run into that situation though.
Just don't show up covered in bwm gear and driving gloves and you will be fine. Also just don't talk about it. How many of your conversations concern the make and model of the transportation mode you took?
It’s a used car that is a good reward for your work
I’d be more worried about the maintenance costs of the car vs making a client butthurt
A used 3-series is comparable in price to a used, fully loaded Camry. Shouldn’t be a big deal.
