After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

It sounds silly but box breathing beforehand always helps me. Inhale for 4, hold for 4, exhale for 4, and do this 3-4 times before you go into the interview. That is how I always calm my nerves.

One thing that has helped me is to just be very prepared before an interview. I may feel some nerves, but once I get talking, as long as I know what I'm talking about, I can settle down. If I start to feel like I'm in over my head I can't calm down at all. So I just make sure to prep and be fairly well prepared to answer the questions I'm sure to get.
What gets me is that I overthink that I am not prepared enough. No matter how much I have done, I worry for the unknown, if I cant answer a question etc
If it is not an on site interview, 20-30 mins before interview, find a great song and dance your heart out. If you need inspiration, try Prince’s song “Baby I’m a Star”.

Sounds like you need a psych to give you some meds to help in these situations… 0.5mg of Xanax and 10mg of Propranolol has worked wonders for me in these situations…
Also, I am pretty sure Xanax is only legal here through private healthcare. You can't get it with the NHS!
Do you have a mentor that you can run mock interviews with? The more you do it the less nerve wracking it is
I do yeah, my partner, he is wonderful with that kind of thing. But I feel like even if I am so prepared I still just get so nervous. I think it is the talking to strangers side of things that is nerve wracking for me
Trust the process
My overthinking brain is not good with that ahaha

Definitely preparation and yes, consider taking some anxiety medication. I've considered it in the past as well. Luckily I haven't had to interview in almost 4 years now.
I am already on 80mg of Propanolol, but in the UK it is so hard to get medication of any sort. Multiple GP visits before etc :(
10mg of propranolol has eliminated my shaking and my voice getting higher pitch. I also used to get out of breath. It literally removes all of these aspects. I use it for public speaking. My normal Dr gave it to me for performance anxiety. You don’t need a psych.
I just had a job interview yesterday for a bank role, yes needs prep and I was nervous and anxious it’s normal. Just think of it in a positive way, the more you do it the more you’ll get comfortable for the next ones. I do think in a different way that it’s them who needs me. Good luck to us.
