Update: called again and got it changed with no fee ;)
Depends on the airline but usually $200. It's the standard change fee.
You call Chase
Ha, you can try but it probably won’t happen... $125 will be the best without status or any reason for them to want to help you change...
Not for free
What’s the fee? Flight was $180..
Depends, do you have status with the airline? You might be able to pull it off. Goodluck
Very close to status..but not yet
Then it might be tough. I would still call and see what happens. “Can you please consider a one time courtesy”.. it really depends on who you get on the phone.
Do I call chase or the airline?
You would call the airline and it’s all now in their processes. As long as your ticket was like a basic economy ticket you should be able to change it I would think
Yeah I would call the airline and work with them, all they see is a flight booked and ticketed, they don’t care if you or CSR paid for it. Besides CSR is usually non-refundable/no changes so you’ll be better off dealing with the airline ticketing agent who can do ALMOST anything to that ticket if they want (they just usually don’t want to...)
Ticketing agent says I need to pay $125 change fee. Is it worth calling again and trying a diff ticketing agent?
Damn :( ok thanks guys!
