People from TIER 1 MBA colleges like IIM,ISB,MDI etc are recruited into GLC.

Yes if they hiring from 2 year MBA programs generally GD followed by multiple rounds of interview.. if they hiring exp resources from 1 year MBA program like pgpex or mbaex of IIM's its shortlisting based on profile followed by interviews.. but they may not go to GLC and may put into direct leadership roles. But the hiring happens only through campus recruitment and with TechM not being a preferred organization for most students in such premier organizations Generally quite easy to get in.. may be lower level institutes like NITIE or IMT etc there will be little competition..

What sort of GD topics one can expect during the process ? Any other information regarding the level of difficulty of the interviews ?
Topics can be varied.. but mostly related to current topics . interview process is tough but people who are in such institutions probably are ready .. I did not hear anyone say its extremely difficult.. since most are freshers or with little exp.. it's mostly behavioural questions and about past exp or activities in their resumes. Since they are groomed to be next level of leadership.. idea is to test their aptitude and attitude and leadership skills.. TechM also hires GLC internally.. not sure criteria and process for that..
