Anyone have advice/thoughts on taking a job at Walmart Connect Vs Disney in NYC? Account manager at Walmart and a sales role at Disney. I got contract offers at both, Disney pays a little more and is in Manhattan. Walmart is in Hoboken which isn’t ideal but both are decent opportunities and would get my foot in the door.

Is the working hours mentioned in my workspace correct? I have recently been allocated to a project and it shows timings from 11 pm -9 am..

I just started with a company as an HR Generalist. Within the 3 weeks of being there, my boss’s boss left, and today I found out my boss gave notice. HR is not valued at the company and it’s disheartening to know I was hired into a mess. I am now actively looking but how do I explain to other employers why I am actively looking and what do I put on my resume? I have never had to deal with this before.

My father had a sever case of Covid and he made it out successfully. I’m very grateful for this. Hi all, I was curious about companies that have their own in-house advertising. I’m in digital media, specifically, SEM and potentially looking to leave the agency side. Primarily due to low pay, and management issues. Given this, any company recs that have a solid foundation with digital media? Any advice from people who’ve been on both the agency and branded side?

A couple of ppl in my previous agency, saw a competitor acct try a very interesting idea that we thought was cool — but their execution was super localized, in europe, and was not even done to its fullest potential.
