Hi guys, Now VMware is offering me a 35% percent hike of what I am earning at DellEmc. I just completed one year at DellEmc. Total 2.7YOE But I don't like to go out of Dell, due to some personal commitments I am planning to switch.
Is it a good time to switch?
Can I talk with my manager ?

Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

Cfa level 1 is overkill for IB. You're better off spending time modelling and networking.
I went from FP&A -> TAS/ARA-> IB anything is possible
You want to boomerang back to FDD?
If you want to do IB, go take the Finra SIE. Much easier to get compared to CFA. The SIE is required once you land the job (along with series 63, and 79 - but you need to be sponsored to take these). You’ll show employers that you know what needs to be done for the role and you’re being proactive
Why would you go back to FDD? Yes it’s not uncommon for junior FDD folks to lateral into IB (or at least it wasn’t uncommon a few years ago)
