After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Hello Guys,
I Got one Offer from Fynd but that is too low for me and as per my expereince
They are giving me 9 LPA bcz I quoted that amount when I applied for it long back. at that time I didnt know more about how salary and all calculated and whats the market research
Now after clearing all the rounds when we meet for salary discussion i told him my real desired salary as per experience and market reseach
He told me that I quoted 9 LPA so we can not do more "unless you have any counter offer"
Masters baby what a time

Be prepared to explain your desire to move and to speak thoughtfully about your matters.
Think hard about what you can bring to the table because of your experiences that other associates can't. I did the same type of move, from a firm with less than 10 attorneys to one with more than 500 and the new firm saw it as a bonus that I had handled a bigger variety of matters than I would have at the big firm as an associate. I was also a second year when I made my lateral move. Agree that you also need to have a thoughtful articulation of your desire to move beyond "this firm pays more."
If you were invited to interview and did not in any way apply for the position, then you are being poached. They want to hire people like you and have the small feeder firms do the initial, expensive post-law-school training. This is their business model, and it’s really hard to find trained attorneys in a specific, local practice area. You are in a small pool of candidates they can poach.
Tell them you have a lot of positive, close relationships with your current coworkers and that you’ve been entrusted with a lot of responsibility (be specific - # of evidentiary hearings, deps, trials, or large size of case load would be good). Then tell them how flattered you are that they reached out to you and how you’ve heard so many good things about their firm (reference the trial awards/area of practice they brag about on their website) and how you view working there as a great opportunity. However. You’ll evaluate any job offer holistically, including non-monetary aspects like expected workload/billable hours, against your current, happy situation. Tell them you would love for them to make an offer that is easy for you to accept.
