Anyone have thoughts on capital one’s new card compared to CSR?

Hi fishes,
I'm 22 and planning to take a life insurance. I'm comparing all policies and max life seems attractive as it has good claim settlement ratio and less premiums. But there is no office near our area. My worry is that if there is a need to claim in future, it can be done all online by my nominee? Is it recommended to take policy online in any platform(like policybazaar)?
Other options I'm considering are SBI life, HDFC life which offices are available in my locality.

I have my first CSR interview Wednesday! Any CSRs that could give me a little insight on what I would be doing and how your interview was?

We probably want to sell our house in the next year or two. What are all the things to do before it goes on the market? E.g., repaint interiors, have handyman fix all the random small broken things? Get windows washed? Touch up landscaping? Any guidance on what you really have to do vs what you can skip? As example, if paying $10k to repaint the house means I can charge $10k more then it doesn’t really seem worth the effort (nets out anyway)....

Help please! Just seeking calibration / data points. Total household income = $350k. HCOL / high tax area (nyc, so state and city taxes). We are a couple with no kids, no debt. Rent and utilities is 3.2k monthly (combined). Car payment + insurance is 420/month. I need one suggestion, I am staying in a PG which is charging me a huge rent but refusing to provide me a rent agreement. My last organization only required me to upload landlord’s Pan and rent receipts to claim for HRA exemption but here in ZS the HR told that we would be required to compulsorily provide rent agreement.
Can we create our own rent agreement or can we claim HRA exemption in ZS only by uploading rent receipts? Or the only option I am left with is to change my PG?

Is Amex really worth it? My wife has a platinum card, and I have a Gold card - mostly because we used to travel a lot for work, but this has changed since COVID. Amex is increasing platinum fees to $675 a year, which would normally be a lot, but even more so when we're not using airline lounges, Uber kickbacks, travel perks, etc. nearly as much as we used to.

Married no kids. Spouse and I travel domestically for work 1-2/month and 4-5/year for leisure (1-2 of those int’). Both American & Marriott status holds. One joint Chase Preferred card.

Wants include:
-upgrades on flights/hotel
-lounge access on flights/hotel
-reduced wait times (boarding, check-in)
-all the freebies 😉

Any other tips/tricks appreciated!

Chase Reserve card still worth it without business travel?

Amex corporate green card or CSR? I’m not seeing many benefits to the Amex and I’m wondering whether I should just stop paying the annual fee and apply for CSR instead and get reimbursed for business expenses from that card. Considering I can only put business reimbursable expenses on the Amex, it’s not accumulating points very fast. Would I be better off consolidating my points on CSR? Amex platinum doesn’t seem like the right move for me right now.

Just got upgraded on a United points reservation. Didn’t think that was a thing. Has the upgrade policy changed?
