Any Spotify people here? Noticed there’s an AM role going at the moment in the UK but not sure what experience level it is. For reference I’ve got 6 years in ad sales experience with 3 years management (both in music industry). Would this be comfortable or is it worth holding out for AD?
All the rounds are completed a month back and last week HR called and said there is a global freeze and would not be able to take immediately and asked if i am interested to wait for 2 months and further technical interviews are not needed is what she said...Is really the hiring stopped ? Hi All!
I am currently a Senior Software Engineer(Backend) with 4 YOE. My current CTC is 21LPA (All Fixed) with additional Yearly bonus. I got a call from Google (Pune/Bangalore/Remote) for Software Engineer - Backend. I have the following doubts but any insights are welcome -
1. Does the lower designation offered make any difference?
2. Kinda ambiguous, but what kind of hike or ballpark pay can I expect?
3. Any similar interviews experiences or focus areas I should prepare for?
I have received offer from Wipro which is little above than the offer that I am holding but fixed pay is less. Thinking of rejecting Wipro offer. Is it better to reject or accept and then not join. Also if I reject, will there be any issue like they won't consider me in future?Tata Consultancy Wipro Cognizant Infosys

At Analyst level, CorpFin case studies will usually test your Excel abilities (likely to be given a "dirty dataset" to transform), analytical skills, and ability to advise/present. I'll give an example of common onee I've run in to:
Give you a raw data dump with overhead info. You're asked to clean up the dataset, map it, pivot it out, and present KPIs. What does everything mean, what are actualizable points for the org, etc. At analyst level they just expect bare minimum and this was a 30 min exercise tops, maybe an hour with prep time.
The hardest I've run in to:
Given a dataset for a segment the company is considering divesting and putting that capital into expanding another segment. They'll give financials for both segments with expected return KPIs. You'll comb through both to see if the KPIs are correct (usually are, but I've seen them be wrong too...) and define the impact of closing segment 1 (FCF in-flow), rolling the money and manpower into segment 2, future imcome vs expense for segment 2. You'll need to look at not only $, but margin impact and scalability as well.
The latter was for an FP&A/M&A hybrid role. Prob not common to see at all. I wouldn't stress too much over the case study. They're usually pretty light.
