Hi Guys, wats up in Volvo. I am recent joiner to volvo,my manager is insisting I come to office 2 days a week and relocate to base location, he is insisting this is HR policy. Though I asked him I can work 8 days from office in a month together & rest from my home, but he is not accepting. Any advises how to mitigate this issue. Volvo

I’d love the list of the companies that fired people for being critical of Kirk.
I’d also like any “lists” to specifically state what was said. Were they “celebrating” or were they simple critical of Kirk’s views?

And now ABC
A reporter from The Washington Post was fired last for merely quoting one of Kirk’s hate filled lines. We all know who’s butt Bezo’s head is up. Everyone is catching hell for any opinion. 1st Amendment and the honest truth be damned. Me personally, I’m not posting any thoughts about Kirk.

Just here to say I’m not ACD1.
There's a big difference between not agreeing with Carlie Kirk and celebrating his death. The bar is quite low: don't glorify political violence. That's it.
The same MAGA folks who immediately started cracking jokes and spinning conspiracy theories after 82 year old Paul Pelosi was attacked with a hammer in his own home now want to lecture others about civil discourse and "glorifying political violence". ಠ_ಠ

Something something cancel culture

@publicis1 You believe cancel culture comes from the left because that's what the COMPLETELY UNCANCELLED right is telling you. Frankly the left mostly cancels their own.
The person that said “it was just his opinion” doesn't see the harm that he causes? Spewing hateful rhetoric, visiting college campuses, and encourage other people to adopt a HATEFUL pov is more than just “his opinion”. We can have opinions on ice cream flavors or whether pineapple belongs on pizza—but to disagree and preach hate… that’s not something to praise. He wasn’t a good guy. If you can look at all the points he was making and try to justify it—i think you need to take a long hard look at yourself. Look and your community and learn from it. America is racist—and built from it. It will always be there. Charlie was not a nice guy and WAS racist. This isn’t a “you’re taking things out of context” discussion. Not celebrating but he doesn’t deserve the love, the attention. This administration is opportunistic, using this as a vessel to further divide the American people. If only people cared this much about the hate that is given to women, the black community, the lgbtqia+ community, and to any person of color— AND mass shootings that happen everywhere.
Listen. I didn't agree with Kirk on almost anything. Like, at all. Mainly abortion and his religious views. But anyone celebrating his death is a monster. He was still a good guy. The response you're getting is just as you have done in the past to other people for other reasons, so dont go crying now. You've repeatedly tried to deplatform and get people fired for not sharing your views, or have y'all forgotten about that? It all coming full circle.
Rising Star
He wasn't a good guy. He was a hate filled bigot who made an insanely good living promoting racism and humiliating children. Also no one tried to deplatform him.
I had to let one of my studio team members go because if it. Honestly, the post she made was horrific, and I had several long-term clients and one prospect make angry comments about it. It's a shitty thing that happened to that guy, and after having dealt with the fallout that affected me, my team, and my business, I feel like I can't shower enough to sufficiently wash off the ick from that.
No but think an old boss blocked me on LinkedIn for being liberal. There is no other explanation.
