Unemployed during COVID-19

Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

Yeah no more free vacation lol
lol trust me, covid is no free vacation… especially with a sick infant along for the fun
Were you already off work and got COVID?
Part of me thinks that if baby-bonding time was already pre-approved then you contracting COVID prior to taking it is an unfortunate turn of events. It’s like asking for vacation starting Monday but the last Friday you work you got the flu or broke a bone (the bone thing literally happened to me one year so I didn’t just pull it out of thin air lol). One has nothing to do with the other. The only day that should be considered for time off would be that Friday IMHO but definitely could be wrong.
Just use your regular sick days? COVID is basically the new flu so most of the special benefits are long gone. And the isolation period isn’t even standardized anymore. Ontario website basically says “feel better and no fever… get back to work”
CA passed a law to provide 80 hours of sick pay for full time employees as a benefit in addition to accrued sick/PTO. I’m being told I cannot use the covid leave despite having all required documentation (this scenario is specific to folks in CA)
I wasn’t aware the COVID sick leave part was still a thing. My job seeped doing it simplest a year ago. More we have to use our PTO.
