Is it SAFE joining Wipro as technical lead (B3) with 37LPA? Knowing that package is pretty high as compared to collogues in same band. HR is not ready to give project manager(C1) position.
Appreciate your suggestions/input.

Got the job! Starting in the McLean, VA office in a little over a month... Would you mind dropping a burner so I could learn a little more about expectations etc. ? Really exicted about the opportunity
Throughout the recruiting/interview process they really harp on how great the people at the firm are, almost to a point where it seems contrived. However, I can honestly say in my experiences, it is true. I’ve loved all the teams I’ve had the chance to work with and from my experience larger teams tend to be very young so there’s a fun social aspect. That being said, I think EY has less of the “bro” consulting culture that stereotypically is associated with firms. Meaning that the teams are very diverse in culture, experiences and background
Honestly it was largely conversational, just getting to know you kind of stuff. I think they trust their screening process enough that they just want to make sure you’re someone that will fit with the culture
Agree with EY1. I would describe the culture as collaborative, inclusive, high-achieving while doing our best to not over-work
Ok thanks a lot for the insight! Really appreciate it!
Agree with EY1. Have been on the interviewing side of experienced staff hires in the last few months. While things will differ interviewer to interviewer, largely conversational with some behavioral or experiential questions. Very big to ensure cultural fit. Would suggest you do the same as well. Take advantage of your time to ask questions and make sure the firm and role both fit for you. Let us know if we can help more
Agree with EY1 and 2.
Nor have I
I’m also in PAS, senior 1.5 years in. Interview was very straightforward, they truly want to get to know you so don’t stress too much. The culture is the best I’ve ever worked at, strong sense of community and support without being super competitive. It’s a great time to join the practice too, there is practically no one on the bench and our numbers have been strong. Good luck and let us know if you have any more specific questions!
Just had the interview, thought it went really well! Hopefully I'll be joining y'all soon!
I am, ask away
@EY1 1. What's the work-life balance of the practice? I'm interviewing for the DC office so wondering about travel, hours etc.
2. How is the interview set up? Is it a behavioral and a case or all behaviorals?
3. What type of work would I expect to be doing as an experienced staff?
1. Work life balance is always double edged sword. My experiences with my teams is that everyone is extremely flexible and understanding to your schedule if needed but the inverse is that you need to be able to flex for others schedules as well.
2. I was a campus hire and it was completely behavioral. Can’t speak to experienced hire interview
3. You’ll have to pull your weight being on the staff level, which likely includes slides, heavy excel work, etc... however my experience has been extremely client facing and autonomous as a staff so if you’re good you’ll be able progress quickly and own client relationships.
Hope that helps a bit!
@EY1 Thanks for the insight! How was the behavioral interview? Typical behavioral questions or anything that threw you off guard?
You bet! Best of luck. We’re in a huge hiring push right now. Follow up if you end up getting an offer and I’ll get in touch
@EY1 @EY2 So how would you guys summarize the culture at PAS?
EY1, EY2, & SC1, have either of you worked at KPMG? Any thoughts on how they compare?
Sorry I have not.
^^^echo that. We’re completely tapped on the bench and hiring heavily
Any updates?
