Curious to hear how Account Exec comp is being broken down for those in Canada that do Solution Sales. After many years in recruitment I’m taking on solutions. Loving it! Just don’t know what industry comp looks like and would love to hear how others in Canada are remunerated.

JPMorgan Chase folks, how long does it take after accepting the offer/contract to getting contacted by the premployment screening team ? I have been waiting for a week now but I was told it is triggered automatically after 24hrs to 48 business hours after the acceptance. I have called my recruiter and they said I should check my spam folder which had nothing. Any indications here ?

Does anyone else just not even want to be a people manager anymore?! The amount of work this is taking, I’m just so over it. In addition to them piling on my work (which is a full time job) the people management stuff is just as much a full time job that no one in management seems to take into account. How do you address pay discrepancies? I just found out a VT hired a year after me, with less experience, is making $2 more an hour. She was hired when they were desperate for staff which I’m guessing is why, but I’ve felt bitter ever since finding out.

I bought a house in the suburbs of Chicago at the top of the market. I ended up moving out of state in 2017 and short-selling. I am now interviewing for a VP Accounting role with the mortgage company that got shafted by the short sale. If I get the job offer, can they/will they see this on my credit report? Just started a new job less than a month ago in the tech sector. It was the industry I was fixated on when leaving for. However I realise that I don't think I can cope with the fast paced, lack of wlb, with no support - it's really impacting my mental health already....

I try to hide it from my boyfriend, but its impact is flowing into my personal life.
I feel like a failure, but recognise it might be beneficial to cut loss and quit. Has anyone been in this situation?

Need advice. I’m at my first job in private accounting. Previous experience is as an auditor. I am struggling to figure out the way JEs are posted at my current company. It’s never straightforward even for simple entries. There’s things like settlements which confuse the crap out of me. I’m curious if it’s just my company or if every sophisticated accounting department will have non traditional ways of posting their journal entries.
