It can be a bit Stabby
Harlem especially East Harlem is being gentrified heavily. You’ll be fine.
Nope, I stand by what I stand by. I said what I said and I’m not retracting it. There’s implicit bias running all throughout this post and that’s that. OP can clearly just come out and say what they mean.

Depends what avenue. East of Lexington (further from mount Sinai hospital), not safe, in general, in my opinion.
I lived on 101st and 1st ave for 5 years. As a female, I was sexually harassed constantly. Not safe to walk home at night around the projects.
Live in morningside instead. Not safe in Harlem at night. Unless you’re a 6’2 dude and then it’s less dangerous
Yes hon
104th on the east side is not so hot. I would say it’s fairly dangerous. Not fairly safe.
Omg SC1 what the hell is wrong with you? I wrote 4 K’s for sarcasm. You are seriously scarred.
I lived on 110&3rd for 3 years and absolutely loved it. Becoming very gentrified, you’ll be fine
Depends heavily on the exact location. I used to walk to Randall’s island through that area. Would walk around the projects area. Not necessarily dangerous but deserted and can be creepy if anything. I’m male too if it matters
East Harlem has gentrified because a Whole Foods opened up on 116th a few years ago.
