Tips on pivoting from a boutique firm to Deloitte or any other large consulting firm ?

I come from a pure healthcare background and have minimal finance skills/experience. Want to eventually get in healthcare investing in a MM PE fund.

Is there anyway that I can start to make moves on this, while at my Big 4? Who are the best types of folks to reach out to at my Big 4?

Anything I should get smart on? Websites, podcasts, books to read?

Looking for any tips! I am CA qualified with 3 YOE in external audit and 1 in internal audit now. Don’t see in a future in IA so thinking of doing MBA and making a move out. Waitlisted at UVA Darden, accepted to a MS IT Management.

Previous military so I have a GI Bill to burn through. I'm waitlisted at Darden's EMBA and accepted to a 1-yr MS IT Management program.

My thought is that if I don't get off the waitlist, I can do the MS MIT this year then the EMBA next year. My mentor thinks the MS MIT might pigeon-hole me into the tech-only world and be redundant if I'm going to go on to get the EMBA.

I'm starting my first year consulting on an IT contract in June.

What does bench life look like for you?
For me a typical day looks like this
9 am- sign in and check emails
930-11 : look for a new job
11-2 lunch and nap
2-3 : sometimes meetings, mostly begging people for billable work
3-4:30 - proposal work if I have it or more job hunting
5-9pm family time and dinner
10-3am - netflix, videogames, cry myself to sleep

Just had an interview with Netflix and at some point I mentioned “GAFA” (even joking that it’s probably GAMA now) and completely forgot they’re in FAANG 😬
