Looking for general feedback on salary & IC numbers: Had a recruiter reach out about a manager gig at PWC in a sales effectiveness strat role in TMT. Said max comp is $155, which is low in my mind for max (parity to my big 4 salary). Are they being serious? Or is this their way of negotiating against me? Also mentioned IC at PWC is 25% of base comp, true? (IC seems high/inflated)

I will likely leave my new consulting job soon after 3 months. My current job is causing me to (almost) burn out already - I’m essentially doing the job of 2 people due to the project being understaffed. Management style is also severely micromanaged. I am in the process of interviewing & will likely get an offer. Thinking ahead, I am unsure what to say to my current company as the reason for leaving. I have a feeling things will turn hostile.

At Deloitte now. laid off last year while on medical leave. Landed a new job with the help of a senior mentor and vouched for me not knowing my medical limitations. I just had to take sick leave again on the first project out of the gate. Dr is recommending 40 hours a week which will not fit the requirements of my director role. I feel like I need to switch roles to a non client facing role to be realistic in my health limitations. How do I make the switch and have the convo with w my mentor?

To my enlisted military and first generation immigrants peers, keep hustling you’re gonna make it. Just got offer of 170k. Went to a shitty city college and parents never made more than 40k combine their whole lives. I can finally let my parents, wife, and kid enjoy life instead of working to live. Pix below is how much I made my last two years in the army e-5 pay grade, this is from SSA chart.
