Would be so helpful to have a list of like:

Now I’m actively looking for a new sales position, have tons of experience, but am struggling to even get a response from job apps. I am wondering if this is because of my employment gap? I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.

Have a final round of interviews as a remote candidate for a team that mainly lives in NYC. Hiring manager said during first interview that my location / remote status doesn’t matter and he has no concerns with hiring remotely for the role. How do I sell myself as a remote candidate to the other 4 team members I am meeting, knowing they all are located in the same city?

It used to be the case that you could never say anything in the slightest negative about your old position/employer/etc when applying for a new job. I have had a gap in my tech résumé for a bit, as I’ve had some negative experiences (typical ones for women in technology) that have come to light in recent years to the public. Since that is now the case… Is it now OK to say that I left my last position because of toxic company culture, or something of the sort? Or still a huge NO-NO?
