LCSW 50k loan repayment- Has anyone been granted a contract through the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program? Just got off of an interview for inhouse. Seems like you do everything every area of law imaginable and with little to no support staff. And no other associates. Just you and someone more senior. Seems like so much work and no billable but it would come out to 2100+

Should you always negotiate? I never gave a range during the interview process, I had a TC # in my mind. Got an offer and TC was exactly what I would've asked for. I will take the job.

That said, is there any harm to negotiating for higher here? I don't have any data to back why I deserve a higher #, but feel it's a missed opportunity to just accept the first offer

I’ll start. Trying to get non local resources utilized. National Leadership thinks this is the answer to our problems but local leadership is hesitant.

I am an hourly employee. Currently if there is a hospital call that needs to be done, someone will volunteer to do it for overtime. Now, my company wants to create a set call schedule. If we get a call at 5pm, when my shift ends, can I still be required to complete the call? I will be paid overtime but don’t like the fact they will force it upon us.
