Preference and viewpoints on B2B vs B2C ?
Hi Fishers, I have accepted Walmart offer and my BGV has started 3 weeks ago. How do I check my BGV status? I will be joining in mid May. Also, I have been hiding one of the company where I had worked for 45 days and then absconded due to personal issues. Would it create any trouble? They had created my PF account though. Any help would be highly appreciated

I’ve interviewed with them twice (2 different groups). Turned down one offer, was rejected the other time. I can comment on the vibe I get.
They make me think of Frost Bank. Lots of wood paneling, everybody dressed like traditional bankers (even as software engineers), very traditional, staid environment. They don’t (or didn’t 2.5 years ago) do permanent remote. Pay was on the conservative side of average. I know some people who work there, which is why I took the interview. They speak well of it.
If I needed a job and they made me an offer, I’d take it. I don’t think it would be a lousy place to work, I just don’t think it would be a great place to work either.
I was a SWE at the time, applying for Sr. Software Engineer both times. Pay topped out at about 135k for the 2nd, more recent role (they rejected me), about 130k for the prior role (I turned it down). For comparison, the role I accepted (shortly after the more recent time where they rejected me) was for 146k, and fully remote.
Like I said, I know some people who like it there, but it feels kind of formal/up-tight for my personal tastes.
Part of me thinks that because they have a chip on their shoulder about “selling cars” (even though they also deal in some high end stuff), and they require the bankers attire to lend an air of legitimacy to everything… but that’s just my biases showing.
If I needed a job, I would not turn it down.
Toyota is a great company. They care and take care of their employees.
Not and easy place by any means though, you will work and be on time.
But it is one of the better places I have ever worked for.
