Anyone working in technical accounting for a big 4? Been applying for big 4 technical accounting positions but haven’t had any luck. Would appreciate if anyone can refer me.

Any books/self help materials for someone who is constantly worrying (and waste a lot of unnecessary time)? E.g. No matter if i pass or fail an interview, there is always something to worry about. The worrying/anxiety multiplies when I proceeded further in the interview stages. Now that I signed the offer and is pending background checks, my anxiety is off the roof as it itches closer to my starting date.

I have an offer accepted from Elevance 125k (Anthem) and w a good team and seems that WLB would be ok. Also, Amazon hiring manager wants to interview me for a job. Is just a hiring manager int. so obvi nothing guaranteed. Salary if offered will be more than 150k. My question is should I accept the interview and see where it goes? Is it really worth it to proceed with a company like Amazon for 25k+. I live in CA so $ is imp but I do have a toddler so WLB is also imp. Both role are Sr. MGR.

Is that correct?

While I look for work, it’s a bit discouraging seeing how hundreds of people apply for positions I see on LinkedIn. I still apply because you never know and AI plays a huge effect in selections. I still have other interviews scheduled and some for higher paying jobs (around 90k) What should I do?
I do like the company that gave me an offer but their base pay was 80k and they went up to 85k. Is asking for them to match the 90k too much? The position is associate systems engineer.

Started a new role. For 9 years I was the go-to for every question for my team. It was exhausting and I was killing myself to please everyone, but I also kind of thrived on it.
