Are agencies still hiring for 'siloed' roles (Copy vs. Art), or is the expectation for 2026 that every junior should be a 'Generalist Creator' who can handle both? In the interviews I'm having, it really does sound like the requirement is for someone who can do it all, but I'd love your direct input on this.

Not a requirement

It’s a plus if anything

Can see how some in-house places might be looking for that though

Yes but can you handle a role remotely

“Creators” or “makers” are a different role. I do think it’s where things are moving though. If you have the skills to work as a maker, you’ll prob have a lot more options now and in the future.

Wow I hope not

Has anyone ever asked to renegotiate their salary after starting a job? I’m 2 months into my new job and I have far more responsibilities than what I was told. It’s a lot different than what was relayed in the posting and during the interviews. Additionally, they hired my counter part in as a senior manager which is at least $30k more than what I make. My peer has more experience so I expect that but I feel that I should be paid more, however I don’t want to leave a bad impression… any advice?

Started at a big firm in July with high hopes- in the career path I wanted and I would be joining with other new grads.
After onboarding, it’s as if my team forgets about us every day. The training is non existent, there doesn’t seem to be any initiative to invest in new hires, my manager scolds me for not knowing enough yet gives no direction. I don’t want to waste time (colleagues mentioned it doesn’t get much better from here). Do I embrace the suck or look for other opportunities?

Recruiters, is it frowned upon for candidates to reach out to you on DM on Linkedin? Or does it show that they’re more interested than just submitting an application?
