Pay in Canada: MBB > Kearney/OW > Other Tier 2s(EYP, S& etc) > Big 4 management consulting.
Management Consulting in Big 4 Canada(Not ‘strategy consulting’ lines - ) pay significantly less than MBB/Tier 2s. At the SC level for Big 4 MC: base salary is 100-120K, where as Kearney/OW base is around 175K; believe MBB is close to or at 200K.
At Monitor Deloitte, SC pay band is 110-145k
Very comparable on a $/hr basis
No. Pay is slightly lower at lower staff levels and the gap gets bigger at each level
Accenture pays better than B4

Not trus Acoustic 1. Deloitte senior consultant pay is 80-120. Mckinsey equalivant in hierarchy is 200. Deloitte manager is 100-150. So even id you are a step above you are still behind by 50k and 80-90 when bonus comes in. However the gap isn’t as large in the US.
The firms you mentioned arent equal comparison. For instance, monitor pays more than Deloitte , KPMG is on the same playing field as Deloitte (not monitor). When you get to partner level at a place like monitor comp is on par with MBB
That is great info. to know. Thanks for the insights!
How does that gap between B4 and MBB translate at senior levels (SM, Partner)?

They are K1

It’s the same comp, just have to be one level higher in the big 4 / acn to make the same amount as the previous level in strategy consulting firms.
