Are job recruiters making the job search more difficult, or is it just me? I am looking on Indeed, Glassdoor, and LinkedIn. I keep seeing all these job postings that look great, until you read the actual description. They will say remote or hybrid, but at the end of the description, it will say in office Monday-Friday. Or even more frustrating is when you read the exact same description by 2 or more recruiters.

I got an offer from hcl and they are offering very less hike on my current CTC around 20% even fixed part is less than my current fixed amount.

I reverted asking them to provide 40% hike on my cctc or 20% hike on fixed cctc and wfh option.

I have a CD that gets extremely flustered when you ask them for their opinion on a solution. For example after showing them multiple color pallets and CD not quite liking any of them (real Goldie locks moment) i suggested why not we do (fill in three colors here), the CD freezes up and gets annoyed because they don’t want to say yes or no without seeing it in front of them. Working on tight turn arounds and a cd who is too busy for meetings it proving tough with remote working. Any tips?
