Are MBB final round case interviews with Associate Partner/Principal/Partner generally more or equally challenging to first rounds with Associate/Consultant level?

When I was a device driver developer with 2 years relevant experience I had got calls from Nvidia and Qualcomm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to crack the interviews back then.

For next 5 years I worked mostly on application development and broadening my exposure. I am not getting even a single call from such companies now.
