Are other agencies like this? --> working over 55-65 hours every week, every project stretches for 6 months to a year (no matter how small), rarely get good work produced, lots of proactive briefs that go nowhere, supremely short staffed creative department. I'm at a global network agency and losing it. Made one book-worthy piece in the past 1.5 years. I like my mentors and managers but I don't get put on projects with them. Is it time to leave?

I currently do planning system implementation at SC level. Quite technical stuff and less PMO. What are my future career possibilities from here onwards? Can I keep progressing in the standard ladder and keep doing implementations, or is it automatically going to end up becoming more are more sales oriented and less actual implementation work? Especially interested in the SM level and above. I’d prefer staying at Big 4 and avoid the supplier side.

Should I Go Back and Reneg? Recently I was offered a role as a Project Implementation Manager (In Retirement Services) .The salary range for Colorado residents was 65-89K. I’m located in NY so the recruiter said he would try to get me more. Ultimately he came back at 90K which is a bit inline with that I was seeing on Glassdoor but approx looks like I may leave 10-12K on the table. I accepted already but may get an offer from another HR company in account management around 90-100K. Need advice

Hi all- My SO is currently at a Big4 & was initially preparing for S&O roles at GCP but given the high number of ex MBB consultants hired, they believe its just more competition to get the offer & to eventually get promoted over time.

Instead, they have decided to pursue program manager or cloud consultant roles, which they feel might have a lower barrier to entry from an assessment standpoint. Not sure if the bowl agrees but would like to get your thoughts, thanks!

Currently in bizops and former consultant, and while the work is fine I’ve realized that bizops feels similar to consulting and in the long term I’m looking for a role that has more ownership and ideally more analytical. I have a question, I got a contract role through a recruiter. Initially the recruiter offered the hourly pay rate which was the minimum in my range. Now I got an offer from the company. Now without me asking her she increased the hourly wage to the maximum range I asked. Which makes me doubt if the company increased it or she knew the rate all along but gave me the lower rate ?
