Vail Marriott, beaver creek Westin, Breckenridge residence inn, aspen snow mass Westin, Whistler Westin. These are not beginner slopes but I’ve stayed at all of them and they’re great. Everyone has bunny hills...
St Regis at deer valley is great. Plus you can shuttle to Park City if you have epic pass
Check out Deer Valley in Park City. It’s a great resort (some locals call it Beer Valley).
St Regis there is beautiful, but personally think is overrated
Steamboat Fairfield/Sheraton, Jackson hole springhill suites (this is not a beginner mountain). I live in Colorado if you can’t tell
How’s the Sheraton Steamboat? I’m going in Feb
Whistler Delta Suites was pretty sweet with reasonable points redemption
Just stayed at the Marriott Mountain Lodge (Autograph Collection) in Kananaskis, Alberta (45 mins outside of Banff and Calgary). The hotel was incredible – only hotel in the Kananaski “village” –Nasikis ski resort is right there. The rooms are super nice. Mine was a 2-stories with a fireplace (firewood included) and an insane auto blackout curtain (15ft in height).
By far the best part about the hotel is the Nordic Spa. If y’all don’t know what that is, please do yourself a favor and google search it. Was at the spa for 5 hours this morning. With platinum+ status you can enter the spa 1 hour earlier than the public, which is yugggee given the 5-7 hour wait times.
Also consider Mont Tremblant if you’re on the East Coast. There’s even an airport there.
Love Mont Tremblant! Great mountain for east coast and has European feel (although sometimes feels cheesy). There is a residence inn and Westin in the pedestrian village that are ski in/out.
These are all great ideas, everyone!
Tried getting my ambassador to give recs and that failed horribly.
Big Sky Montana just got a brand new Residence Inn. Will be shredding the gnar there over New Years
Can you let me know how it is? Thinking of making a trip there later in January.
Late to the party but there is a Courtyard in North Conway, NH. Cranmore (small mountain) is 5 minutes from it and the downtown has good Apres vibe.
