Are there companies that post job openings with very high salaries and impressive descriptions for many positions at once as a form of advertisement? Sometimes I read these postings and feel like something is off, they are overly detailed. Do you think this actually happens?

I’m an SE who works 2 AE’s, and from looking at the market am on the bottom end of the pay scale. The company I work for has many different products/services (80+), so they wanted SEs to take on a local “SME” role in a specific area, to support other members of the team.

This role has ramped up quite a bit recently, and people have been coming to me for help with their deals (overviews, demos, POCs) which is increasing my workload.

I was kind of forced to get out of retail when the pandemic hit so my only option at the time was to jump in to real estate as I already had my license.
