Yeah, thats not an uncommon promotion style on tiktok — I think Walmart did it around the holidays. Like basically all tiktok buys, you’d work with your tiktok team to set it up. As of this Fall, their platform wasn’t sophisticated enough yet for an influencer to grant you access on their own to boost their videos/profile (like on FB and Twitter).

I believe you can do this. You just need to ask the influencer for a video code and then can input that at the ad level in the dash

You can definitely do this - there’s two ways to go about it.

1) standard whitelisting organic content. It’s a similar capability seen on the other channels, and you can do it both for their reserve and auction buys. For auction in particular, believe the capability is still in beta, so not everyone has access to it just yet. I’d work with your Tik Tok rep to see if your agency/client can get access. It’s essentially an access code that the influencer provided and allows you to pull in the post for paid.

2) you can manually build the post to look like it’s coming from the page - essentially a dark post.

my sister died this morning. I posted about her in a past post. Alcohol addiction, liver failure and then it taxed the kidneys too much, she went into cardiac arrest at 9 am and they could not save her. She was 51. Sad day for sure. Feels odd that she is no longer here. I just wish she could have had a better future.

Sr. Digital Media Specialist here. Been with my agency for exactly 2 years now. I recently received a major elevation in responsibility, but the company “cannot afford to promote me at this time.” Basically I’m expected to operate as a manager without the title or compensation.
