What should my requested salary be for a Senior Intelligence Analyst position with CrowdStrike ? I have a bachelors degree and 5 years of experience as an intelligence analyst. Current salary is 56k in NC, but when I was in DC I was making 86k (big locality change)… which makes me confused on what I should expect for a remote job.
Hello Fishes,
I have got an offer at Wells Fargo for the role Technology Business Systems Consultant and my total YOE is 4.8 into Testing (Manual and Automation)
Is this role relevant to my experience or is it a role for much experienced person than me?
Any idea or information that what is the pay usually offered for this position?
Please provide your thoughts and suggest whether I should change 1. My role or 2. Request for more pay
Thanks in Advance!Wells Fargo

Do you think you’ll like the new job? If so yeah. I’ll take a guaranteed 100% raise now vs the promise of PPMD in 3-6 years.
EY recently dumped a bunch of heavy senior managers, actually making partner by sticking around is FAR from guaranteed.
Depends if the position is what you want and has room to advance. If it just for money, probably not the best idea. But no one can say they know they will be PPMD in 3-6 years. Too much can change on that time
What’s the other job? Double a SM salary is more than an MD makes. And you definitely can’t be guaranteed to make PPMD. I think you’d really have to love your job as a SM (or have serious doubts that you’d like the other job).
What’s the title?
That sounds like CAO comp. CAO is a great title because you can bounce from position to position collecting C-Suite comp and equity. I would take that over partner any day.
I think you can always come back.. and they will take you if you r good! 😀 now you have more than just experience in public accounting
It’s a controller position. Would probably enjoy the work. Less hours definitely. I just can’t get past the uncertainty of PPMD as well as length of time to get there. Really like EY though, it’s a hard decision!
I wish I was in your shoes 🤷♂️
