Keeping them home. Getting up early. Working in shifts. Checking each other’s schedules the night before for when we can best support each other. Lucky to have an understanding partner. My three year old was present on my IR today🤷🏻♀️
Really struggled with it this morning/similar small daycare situation and decided to keep him home. I walked over, gave them 2 weeks tuition and cried the whole way home (for my one year old because he loves it so much and for the staff). These women are amazing and I really hope they come out of it ok. There seemed to be about 1/3 of kids there though.😭😭

How are you working from home with kids home? We tried today and it was extremely difficult, to put it lightly. We almost all killed each other 😬 I don’t know how we will last weeks like this. This is what made me say “maybe we will send them tomorrow??” 😬😬
Do you have a partner to share duties with? I work the early shift 7:30-3:00 (nap wake time) and my husband works 12:30 (nap go down time) - 7:30. It’s hectic, but with a 18 month old it’s the only way.
I am debating as well (for only an hour or two) ... less to help me but more to get her energy out & not be stuck inside while I’m working.
I spoke to the daycare and 90% of kids are home ... almost the safest place I can take her 😊
Going to make decisions each day. Tomorrow she’ll stay home.
Keeping him home. Friday it seemed like a hard decision, but by Sunday night it did not.
Keeping my 3.5 year old and 9 month old at home. Luckily my husband is at home too so we just take turns keeping the kids occupied while the other works. And both still take long naps, which helps a ton. We felt too guilty sending them in when we were both home.
I kept mine home. She is bummed, we FaceTimed with cousins and buddies. Daycare is still open, maybe she can go next week if we feel okay about it. I’m barely getting anything done.

(It’s a small at home daycare)
Not while I’m working from home. Will do when/as we get called in.
Keep them home. At least for right now. See what the situation is in a week or two but the trend is for everyone to stay at home.
Send your child to daycare so they can infect your family. sure why not

And welcome!
