Rising Star
As of late May 2026, your statement is false.
Indiana State Senate: While five GOP state senators were unseated by Trump-endorsed candidates, some targeted incumbents successfully defended their seats. Specifically, Senator Greg Goode defeated his Trump-backed challenger, and Senator Spencer Deery successfully defended his seat against a Trump-backed opponent, with the results in the latter race facing a recount.
Indiana House of Representatives: Rep. Bruce Borders, who held a Trump endorsement, lost his primary race by 10 points to an opponent he had faced two years prior.
North Carolina Senate: State Senator Phil Berger, who campaigned heavily on a Trump endorsement, was defeated in his primary race by a margin of 23 votes.
Besides, worry how? It should only worry moderate republicans who don't consider themselves MAGA.
In many states independents can’t vote in primaries and they are a large portion of the voters. In a number of states there are more people registered Independent than D or R. Only 8% of registered Republicans voted in Texas. In a general election, the outcome will be different.
Rising Star
And republicans poll very low among independents lately.
Looking at how MAGA has been performing in special elections, no I am not worried.

These are primaries, many closed to the party and most are overrepresented by extremist at polls.
Wait till the general.
