We're somewhere in the middle, probably a little closer to the traditional side. Things aren't overly stuffy here, but we're still firmly business casual and there isn't much downtime. I guess I'm pretty old school, because if given the choice, I'd take this work environment over the uber modern vibe every time.
Our office isn't very stuffy, but people are too busy for anyone to think they're just chilling. If I had to describe the atmosphere I'd say it's somewhat casual, yet still very professional. I don't think we really care if anyone finds our office life uber cool, it's the work that counts.
Those places thrive on collaboration, openness, and comfort, which makes people feel inspired. In my product marketing role, I’ve worked in both kinds of offices. Some are ultra-traditional, but more and more are embracing this relaxed, creative vibe, even outside of agencies. It’s not universal yet, but it’s definitely becoming more common as companies realize a cool, positive environment actually fuels better work
