Focus less on level to exit and more on the outgoing opportunity itself. Great exit opportunities can come at any level, try not to pass up a company/opportunity you love due to being too focused on exit level (eg Manager) as it may not come back when you get to that magical next level.

Manager - unless something great comes along. Just my 2 cents but you’ve got the consulting skills (you’ll have those after a few years of consulting regardless of level) AND you’ve proved you can operate independently and manage a team which is a couple of extra boxes checked.

I’d say manager or experienced manager, for sure. Having 6-10 years under your belt will get you a lateral Sr. Manager role in industry and you’ll get a nice pay bump
