Yes! It makes me feel good about the beginning of a new school year.
Yes!

We always have to wear at school spirit t-shirt. This year, I am sure we are wearing our house shirts.
Yes I do
Yes, dressing up for the first day of school is a wonderful way to show students that teachers care about being professional. This works at middle school because it is unlikely that we need to sit on the floor with our students…it may happen later in the year, though. 😂

That 's so funny. The teachers I remember the most were the ones who would get in the trenches with their students.

I love dressing up, just don't get to do it on the first day of school, because we have to wear Spirit wear, and this year I heard that we will be wearing our House t-shirts.
Nope
For those required to wear school spirit wear; are they given to you? Or do you have to buy them?

Over the past 10 years, I have collected a large number of t-shirts, so I just pull out the school spirit tote.
I definitely do dress comfortably with nice comfy shoes
Memory foam shoes and sketchers
I always buy myself a few new “school clothes” before the start of the school year.
No Catos, but thanks!
Our principal always has us wear our school spirit shirt for the year so we are all matching. In a way, I like this so I don’t have to plan my attire! School spirit shirts mostly all year for me!

We usually have a huge teachers rally, with all the schools in the corporation. Our principal has always liked for us to all wear school spirit wear, so we stand out as a team
I love buying stuff for a new school year, especially my first day of school outfit!

This year I have bought a few outfits for school. I won't be able to wear them on the first week, but after that, here we go. I do have to still purchase some shoes, though.
Not anymore. I teach special ed preschool. No one cares what I wear. I have to be wearing clothes I can move in- sit on the floor, sit in tiny chairs, get dirty, and change diapers in- clothes that can get dirty outside on the playground and in the lunch room because someone will spill something and it inevitably will get on me. So no nice clothes!
My sister is a SpEd teacher, she does not really dress up , too. Same reasons that you mentioned.
Yes, definitely!
