You probably got the job
It's either "you got the job" or potentially to provide feedback that you were close but didn't quite make it. Either way there's nothing to falter.
They are probably also trying to figure out if you’ll accept the offer in case they extend one. Bain is very particular about that.
Most likely to roll out the offer. However if I were you I'd be prepared to get a case too.
In cases where the #rounds >=2 and even if one of them is a strong no, they might take an extra round to develop conviction. Best to be mentally prepared for a case.
Typically I'd agree but I would think it's pretty strange to have a partner that has already interviewed do a tie break... But maybe!
