How do you know when dependence turns into addiction? Where’s the line?

Curious if anyone here has been diagnosed with Narcolepsy? I just got my diagnosis after many years of struggling to stay awake and am wondering what to expect on the meds (xywav and wakix). I’m so excited for a new chapter and hoping it will improve my performance at work.

I have about $60k sitting in a savings account that I need to invest. I already max out my Roth IRA, Roth 401K, and HSA every year. I’ve been nervous to invest it because I can’t decide if I should stick to ETFs or invest in something more risky. Any suggestions on potentially good investments?

What do you do to automate you lifestyle/remove decision fatigue to reach your health and fitness goals? For example: I meal prep so I know calories and macros of all my meals without having to count each time M-F (unless going out with friends/SO) and I run first thing in the morning the same 4 days every week. I’ve found that making healthy habits a part of my lifestyle and routines makes them easier to stick to and would love any additional ideas!

Anyone tried intermittent fasting? How long till you felt different? Is there a point where you should stop

I’m so depressed, have been for years, and don’t see it getting better. I’ve tried everything from therapy, exercise, psychiatry, journaling, self help books, healthy diet, etc. what else is there?

Recently switched jobs and had several thousand available to rollover into my new 401K. Also just got married/had a wild bachelor party/overspent on honeymoon, which led to me having about the same amount in high interest credit card debt. Definitely feel like it’s a one time thing and I know how to budget better for trips now. So, my question is, should I use my old 401K amount to just pay off my debt, taking the 10% hit in penalties, or should I roll it over to my new employers 401K?

Do you think it's a good idea to devide work experience by projets? Or is it better to have "projects highlights" separate from work experience.. something like: intro>functional expertise> project highlights>work experience>education?
