I have an interview for a technical writer position in the chemistry field. Coming from a lab based chemistry role I'm use to getting technical questions about my lab experience. With this role I'm interviewing for being office based, I'm not sure what questions they may ask. What interview questions can I expect for a technical writing position?

Do certifications like Cloud Solution Architect (Associate or Pro) help in getting interview calls for AWS positions at Amazon or elsewhere if you have no cloud experience?

Junior associate here, should I ask for more money if my firm is about 10-15 percent less hours but about 30 percent less pay? Are ppl worried about being on the bench esp when there aren’t a lot of projects in the pipeline? New hire here about to be up for staffing for the first time and sentiment at my firm seems to be worried/fearful about being unstaffed. Is it actually worrisome to be on the bench in this environment or is this just a product of highly ambitious over achievers worrying about not being constantly utilized?
