Take the leave and don't think trust me if you want to continue working for a long time. If you push your pain back it will come back with bigger issues that won't be cured by few days then. So it is better to rest now.

Go ahead, show the medical reasoning and take as many leaves as you need. Change your lifestyle with a more active and healthier approach. All the best.

First, get yourself an ergonomic chair—it’ll make a big difference in supporting your back. But don’t delay taking the leave! If you wait, the pain will only get worse, and it might affect your work even more in the long run. Just explain the situation honestly to your boss.
