Been in a new job a couple of months it's going ok so far. Now, my exboss is leaving the previous firm and they are now asking me if I would consider coming back with an upgraded title/responsibilities/comp. Both companies (current and previous) are stable but previous is smaller so exposure to different areas of the firm, current is larger company with a more focused role. What are the type of things I should be asking while evaluating the opportunity.

Hi, contemplating a bcg expert track PL role after 5 years of ops consulting. Any perspectives on the career trajectory on the expert track vs generalist track? Are the expert track folks really given a 'step child' treatment? Any thoughts on potential exit opportunities?

Went through multi-day loop for L5 SA and felt confident in my interactions. Presentation went well with no lack of answers for follow up questions. Just found out 6 days later I will not be receiving an offer, and it is policy to not provide feedback of gaps or reasons behind no offer. Also found out they ask you not to reapply for 1 to 2 years for same role. Would anyone recommend an alternate path for feedback on interview (outside of recruiter) and is the 1-2 year policy true?

It feels like my pay and title are lower than my scope of duties.
