My final round with Deloitte for UK Tech Consulting Manager position soon. Strangely it’s not a PMD round as it usually is for other Big4/tech consulting firms.
1. Can anyone tell me if they’ve been through the whole process without speaking to PMD? (First round Sr Manager, second Case Interview by a manager and third again by a manager) 2. What is a typical salary to expect? I was asked in screening but kept it vague (e.g can discuss later bla bla). I was hoping 75-80 (ridiculous?)
Hello All, I have been selected in the interview at NTT DATA and also submitted documents as requested by Recruiting HR. However , it's been a 10 days after docs submission but haven't received any call from HR for salary negotiation. On email follow up with HR, he said he is on it and will come back to me soon for further process. Any views.NTT DATA

Keep your chin up OP! We love you.
Ex Accenture FS strategy here. They're cracking down on utilization and metrics more than before. I know because my husband is a ACN Strat MD in Operations. They will let you go at some point an in the interim, the stress will eat at you. I joined Slalom S&O and really love it. Slalom is about 5K people with near 50% ex ACN who love consulting but not the bullsh*t. No utilization metrics or getting fired if your on the bench for lack of roles. Worth a conversation with them. They're cool people and Recruiting team is always willing to meet for a coffee to chat and answer questions before any formal process so you feel comfortable.
What? Enjoy being on the bench. You're getting paid to do nothing!
I don't like it - I mean it is ok for a month but now it has been 2.5 months. And they might let me go..how long would I get paid for doing nothing
Accenture sucks. Start applying elsewhere. Use the time to polish up the resume.
Same boat, doing everything I can not to break down
Sell work
Thanks guys 🙏
@op, I cried so much when I was on the bench hehe it's okay to let it out and cry sometimes *air hug*
Definitely went through the same thing at D. Getting staffed is such a crapshoot sometimes and I've definitely shed a tear over losing a project.
Same boat too
Over my 3 years I have been quite fortunate with Accenture and have found great opportunities..that is why I haven't taking going elsewhere seriously but maybe it is time
I'd use that time to study for the GMAT ;)
@OP have a burner? I can connect you with some people looking for roles.
Looking for people to staff roles*
@OP cool, I'll send over some deets later :) best of luck!
It's a tough time. You are not alone. I also wrapped up mid December and just started something recently. As long as you are keeping busy with proposals, something will hit.
When I first joined ACN, I was on the bench for 2 months. Stay focused , network, and don't depend on your TFS. Look at open roles constantly and help MDs with proposals.
@OP I might have a lead - send me an email fb.burner.atl@gmail.com
Awh OP- hugs! It's just a job!!! If you are in NYC and want to talk let me know. I may not be able to help you find a role cause I'm not strategy but we can certainly get a drink to make you feel better :)
