Behavioral patterns dictate where you will be in the future. Positive patterns help you reach that future faster. Negative patterns delay or redirect the future you want for yourself.

You are in control of breaking a negative pattern. When things aren't going your way, there are things you are doing that are contributing to it.

Are you consistently: Working long hours, not communicating, or accepting negativity?

If what you are doing is negative for your standards, break the pattern

Hello fellow SAP Consultants!
I am SAP HCM consultant having 4.10 years of experience. I feel that this module doesn’t have any growth. My first switch took me to 9LPA from 6LPA and now the second switch is being offered for 11.5LPA where I can see my fellow friends in SAP having more than 15LPA at the same experience on their second switch itself. Should I be worried about my skillset? Any insights would highly be appreciated. I feel stuck.

I've had my run-ins with people who like to linger in their thoughts and spend time circling in conversation because, whether they knew it or not, they were not sure what they were looking to achieve.

This has burned me in the past (e.g., Hours spent revising material, unnecessary back-and-forth communication with clients).

Hence, when you are assigned something or create something for yourself, make sure you are fully aware of your end goal, so you know what you are working towards and how t

Think about your current situation. For example, what are you spending time on that is outside of your control?

- Are you trying to change someone's behavior/belief?
- Are you forcing someone to like you?
- Are you breaking someone's pattern abruptly?

Focus on making yourself better and what you feel you can control.

There may come the point where constant meetings, being around the same people, or the same environment will cloud your creativity. When this happens, you may need time to yourself in a different environment to think clearly without any disturbance.

Great ideas can wake you up in the middle of the night, during a shower, while walking in the park, or any other setting outside of a meeting.

As you grow with your company and take on more responsibilities, delegation becomes MANDATORY to be effective in your role.

Just don't confuse delegation as an excuse to get away from tasks while you don't work on anything important. Rather, use it to grow efficiently by working on the most important tasks while others help you.

Here is an insight for you all today—key elements to living life with purpose.

Finding purpose in your life changes the way you think, behave, and communicate with others. You lose track of time because you are too busy enjoying what you have at the moment.

To find purpose in your life requires three key elements:

1) Presence
2) Values
3) Challenges

Without these three elements, you can never feel fulfilled and live life with a purpose.

Whom you surround yourself with is a choice, just like everything else in your life.

Don't underestimate the strength you can gain from having the right people by your side who genuinely support you through good times and bad. You shouldn't make space for people who bring constant negativity.

Work doesn't have to cater towards someone else's structure constantly. Find what works for you.

Being good at your job includes knowing how to maximize your efficiency, from knowing what times you are most productive, creative, responsive, and energetic.

Examples: Working remote vs. in office, scheduling important meetings in the morning vs. afternoon, creating more break times to walk around

What's triggering you to feel exhausted, negative, or lose your motivation?

We all start our jobs full of hope and promise. That same hope and promise may still be there. However, the eventual grind or consistent overcommitment of anything will trigger you towards Burnout if you are not aware of them.

Be aware if you are consistently over-committing to something that will burn you out. Take breaks. Change your patterns. Whatever you need to do. Just don't overdo it.

Surrounding yourself with the right people can make a major impact in living the life that you want.

People who Teach, Empower, and Support you in every aspect of your life will fast-track your growth. Also, surrounding yourself with these people will give you an environment of freedom to talk about anything.

Do you have these types of people in your current relationships? If so, make sure you prioritize building on them as they are your keepers.

Not everyone is a good listener.

Most people have a habit of listening to find a way to relate your story to their lives and then tell you how it relates.

A small percentage of people will listen to you, show empathy, find ways to help you, cheer you on, and overall, keep the focus on you and your needs.

Next time you have a conversation, find out who's really listening to you.

A majority of society tends to stick around to things because they are influenced by "enough" people doing something similar. Hence, they start living someone else's life instead of theirs.

Think about what you want for yourself, what's important, what you value. Then, ask yourself. Do I have these things? Am I living by the things that are important to me?

There are many reasons why people in the working world are not direct when speaking. They are one of the following:

* They pretend they are experts
* They are inexperienced
* They are full of themselves
* They don't know what they are looking for
* They love to talk

Even if these people have good intentions, be careful of them. Your time is valuable, and the best thing for you to do is to be direct back at them.

Burnout is because you did something consistently for an extended period. You can do quick fixes like go on vacation, get some sleep, exercise more. But they may only help temporarily, depending on your level of Burnout.

Try adjusting your approach to work / life to a more sustainable, and ideally, enjoyable balance.
